Thumbnail for The rack... - ...has been isolated from the entertainment center by cutting 1" holes in the cabinet shelf and the ends of the rods have been ground into spikes to pierce the carpet and make contact with the cement slab below. My D.I.Y. Flexy rack was built with ¾' threaded rods, 1½' maple shelves and has been grounded.
