Internal view with input wiring. A mess, but the only serviceable way of doing it. Ohno continuous copper wire used.
Output wiring with Ohno copper wire. Twisted pairs and much neater. Ground wire is enameled copper with a ground bus (star ground) towards the bottom left of picture.
Unit powered on, and completely silent! Bent all metal remote in foreground.
Bent all metal remote. Probably the finest remote from a DIY perspective. Balance control, Mute, Volume, 6 input selection, Tape Input and Power button (left upper hand corner). 61 steps of attenuation with extreme quality relays, and a maximum of 7dB of gain.
