Thumbnail for Probably can't see the eeny-weeny van den Hul stylus tip, but it's most definitely there.

I treat all my styli to LAST Stylast (after wear-in as if it's used to start the stylus will never wear-in). I've used the stuff on dozens of cartridges since the late 70's and I've never had to re-tip any of them due to wear. It's quite frankly the most amazing substance in vinyldom I'm aware of.

So, whatever hours are on it, it's got virtually zero wear on it after 25 hours break in period.
