Like an idiot I deleleted a private message from someone out there.
I believe it asked what the KVA rating was for each of the transformers in the 3B SST.
It is 275 VA EACH.

Thanks James.  That's good to know.  What about the KVA rating  in the 9BSST?

To clarify, have all ST and SST amps used two in total?

Don't forget your decimal point - ie.  2.25, 2.75 etc. KVA.

don't you mean 0.275, or maybe 2.75 KVA ?

(275 KVA is quite a lot...)

I was wondering what sort of mains supply you'd need to be able to extract 275kW from the socket, not mention what sort of cooling solution that would need.  :D

Speaking of power mains how important are powerline conditioners and surge protection to all of you out there?

Very.  I use a BPT for power conditioning today (including my amp).  Is Bryston potentially considering this market?

It mainly depends on where you live.  In my neighborhood, it is a necessity to have a powerline conditioner.  I use powerline conditioners connected to a powerful voltage regulator (variac).  The results are not subtle.

We have been looking at it for a while now and a high current capable line conditioner with surge protection (not using MOV's) is something I think is needed out there.
