Looks like this table is coming to USA this summer.

I found out when I called a dealer to ask about his impressions of Well Tempered vs. Brinkmann

I explained how I enjoyed the life and excitement generated by my WTA and didn’t want to give that up even for more bass and blacker backgrounds. He said I wouldn’t get it with the Brinkmann. Sure, more bass, quiter backgrounds, and superb staging… but not as lively as what I had.

Then he mentioned the 254 is coming soon and he’s heard it. Improved bass and slightly blacker backgrounds too!  Plus the electronic speed control.

So I popped a line to Mike Pranka who confirmed it. Price expected to be $8250-$8500

When you listen the Brinkmann turntable,is it same cartridge and phono or same system to compare ？

I haven't got that far to arrange a demo.

And unless it's a home trial all the variables will be varied, so a home trial would be the only valid experiment
