Killian: Thanks for the quality flat packs. She has enjoyed the process and learned. We have a soldering kit on deck that she wanted to do because she likes soldering, and it is a little electronic piano she wants to give to her brother because she is taking piano lessons and wants him to have something. Without this project, she would have not discovered she likes to solder. Her Mom got her a soldering iron for this and future soldering projects.

Thank You!

I took the finished speakers over to my Granddaughters Sat night. Here is a pic of them in their home environment. You can even see the little Aiyima next the right speaker. When and if she decorates them, she has been enjoying them, I will post pics. Thank You all for the wonderful comments and funny jokes.  :D

Your bad, my good.  Thanks for bringing it back.  I doubt I would have had the pleasure otherwise.   I’m old enough to be a grandpa (‘cept the kids aren’t cooperating) and some of my most cherished memories are afternoons in my grandpa’s garage working one project or another.  He past away 25 years ago but those memories keep him alive in my heart.  Your grand kids will enjoy the same.  The gifts that do really keep on giving.

Thank You Allan, I completely agree it is the time spent together that stays with them. I'm very pleased that you like this thread and you thought of your Grandfather, sounds like a good guy.  :D
