If I can be forgiven for being redundant, I'd like to add a proper Omnia link (the other was just Steve and Jenny). Here's a poem by Edgar Allan Poe, 'The Raven', performed by the band. Hey, this one is in English.

Perhaps, I'm a little obsessed right now. I just received a new album of theirs and I'm somewhat enchanted. Actually, although it is an Omnia release, it's mostly Jenny and her harps.

Bob, Neil Pert is an amazing drummer, and this is in no way an attempt to one up him. it's just another amazing drummer - Mr. Frenetic, himself. Here's a little drum solo by Terry Bozzio back in his Zappa days.

Hi Kevin, thanks for the recent links to Omnia, I really enjoyed them..
I never did see that particular video with Terry Bozzio, that guy was
an animal behind the drum kit.. Great solo..

How much influence would you say Gabriel had on Fish...or Genesis had on Marillion?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaBjdLQ0LJ0

In my opinion, both bands really suffered when they lost their front men, but at least Marillion kept Steve Rothery. On the other hand, Steve Hackett turned out a lot of awesome music after going solo.

Still, my favorite electric guitar piece by Hackett has to be this one, from Genesis' 'Firth of Fifth'.

To complete the comparison, here's a little solo by Rothery - so lyrical.

That band really grooved. I haven't listened to them in years. I think I need to dust off an old record and give it a spin.
Perhaps, the stage lost its juice, but Jaki certainly didn't.  :)

I'm glad someone else appreciates Omnia's music. I still think 'Alive!' is their best release, although I really love Jenny's harp album.

If you like that style (instrumentation), Faun is outstanding. I was a bit worried when I listened to 'Von Den Elben' (leaned a bit too pop for my tastes), but their latest release, 'Luna', is a strong return to form. I guess it helps if one speaks German, but I love plenty of other music with singing in languages that I don't understand.

Speaking of singing in a language that I don't speak, I really dig female chorals, and Medieaval Baebes have some beautiful songs. This isn't really a video, but the images are from the same land as the song.

There are quite for shure, but I avoid these new bands due its keyboards sound is poor by the digital instruments they use as in this link above.

This Renegades song has been really overplayed a lot recently, but I love the message in the  video.

No, it's an ordinary low-resolution mp3 taken from a 16/44 CD. The recording was made in 1996 on a Tascam DA38 at 16/44. Mixing was on an analog board and editing was done on Sonic Solutions at 24/44. From a 2-CD set called Songs and Arias.
