OK, so on which B.B. King CD can I find the best version of "The Thrill is Gone"?

(I have five B.B. CDs, only one (Live from Cook County Jail) has this song, and I don't much like this version.)

Nice! ... thanks Bob2, I'll look those up.  :thumb:

What prompted my question was last night, catching a late dinner in Marietta, GA, the place on which we settled had live music in the back. Cool! Nice rock and blues music selections, but poor execution. Guitar player was all thumbs while the singer sounded like a bad impression of Layne Staley (Alice in Chains). After hacking their way through "The Thrill is Gone", I had to rush home and spin some B.B. King. That is when I discovered I did not have a decent version of that song in Rocka de Casa.

Genetics? Or perhaps sitting too close to hot audio tubes all of those years?
Can't say for sure, but I'll ask her when I see her in a few weeks.  :thumb:
