Title: Intro

GD here, I'm 72 and been into audio since 1971. Just moved to the Ft Smith, Arkansas area. I'd like to meet some other audiophiles. Several modest systems. Interested in DiY speaker building. Not wedded to either analog or digital. IMO, each has its strengths and weaknesses. I try to combine for the strengths and minimize the weaknesses. Aim is to have the sum  greater than the parts.

My direct ancestors (father's side) first landed in Arkansas in the late 1800s and settled in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.   I need to get out there are some point.
