So technically speaking, does whole wheat provide a more "organic" sound than white ?

Arthur,  you'd probably have to try a test with white noise...

All you vinyl people, quit loafing around and try this. Any way you slice it, it's a novel approach.

Not necessarily, AD. I tried organic pita but the sound they produced proved to be rather flat. However, organic baguette tips did work nicely but only for a short time but after that the sound became stale and basically crummy.

Still, the experiment gave me an excuse to loaf and spend time listening to some old favorites:
