Title: Blu-Ray to 24 bit Flac ?
Post by: Super Hans on 6 May 2016, 09:12 pm
I've searched and read a bit and there doesn't seem to be a generally agreed on, free way to rip Blu-Ray discs to 24 bit Flac files.
I've messed with a couple free programs but it was either bad sounding wav file extracts or one huge file not broken down into individual songs.
Getting the wav files off the Disc seems to be more of a challenge than converting them to Flac afterwards.

just wondering if anyone has experience with freeware that does the trick(s).

Thanks

They are not necessarily free but MakeMKV (decrypts protected BD discs) then Audiomuxer (has decoder, etc for anything including the difficult DTS HD MA codec) will produce 24/192 (max 2 channel) and 24/96 (max multichannel) .  I have many.
