You too can own a Wii - for $209 !!!

The Wii will theoretically be available in some quantity Sunday at BB and CC.

Circuit City now has an online coupon for $40 off of $200 for a single item. This means you can now get the Wii, which is $250, for a mere $209.

This would be a double bonus - actually getting a highly popular gaming console that has been unavailable, and getting it for $40 off while it is still highly popular.

Anyone waiting to get that Wii?

This looks good. I need a gaming console for my new TV.  As I am now waiting for the Zephyr :thumb:

This is the TV, though this is not my setup.  It is the Westinghouse LVM-37w3

Sweet! 1080p goodness! And I have always wanted to have an LCD TV that could double as a PC monitor.

37" may be too big for normal PC use though, would have to use it from the couch!

And the Wii has Opera if I am not mistaken.

I am debating on a Wii, it seems like it would be so much fun to play little doodads in a game of tennis with that controller...and of course instant fun for anyone who comes over for a visit!

I really wanted the connectivity so I could play PC games on it.  This makes my visual needs satiated.  We are traveling the globe so weight is an issue.  The projector and this tv make about 60lbs I believe.  Also, I should not have the rugrats argueing over either one, so the Mrs and myself can enjoy our shows or MY games by our(my)selves.

Yes thats a good weight for TV plus projector!

So planning on the Wii then for now? Have you heard any dates for the Zephyr? I am afraid it may be awhile...

No, but I can wait it out until it does.   We ship out either May or June.  I should have my saved Burnout and Oblivion by then.  I sold my NTSC-J to a friend.  Right now I am concentrating on finding a job and then hacking my PSP.   It seems to have alot of potential.

I have not been in a gaming mood lately, watching movies instead.

But I really think I will get one of these sometime soon. THey look great for those that don't play video games much, and folks who come over with their kids.
