Several years ago I used the reticulated foam on the rear wave of the tweeter on my V1s.  I simply cut a circle to fit the opening.  I did not hear a big difference but it might be something to experiment with.

Thanks for that Ed, I have tried a few different materials covering or partially covering the rear of the tweeter. I found for the most part I lost some of the airiness that the rear tweeter brings to the table. I was hoping this tweak might act a bit differently.
