Lovely speakers, I still miss my 1.6's.

Can you hear your tunes in the public hallway outside your space? That would be a simple way to test for sound transmission without asking!

No I cannot hear my music in the hallway, but sometimes if I listen carefully I can just barely hear it standing in my personal 'alcove' (each door has a little alcove. some are two doors together, but mine is me alone). If I press my ear to the door. yes I can hear it.

The way I look at it, those fuses are great protection for speakers because at $100 a pop, you'll never play them at more than a whisper.

And of course there's the other theory -- that the purpose of the ribbon tweeters is to prevent the tweeter fuses from blowing.

Cool to hear about the first hand transition between the 2 large Maggies.

Even more interesting to me is how close your final placement is to how I had my 1.6's in my own room in terms of side to side, front to back and L and R separation!
