Technics SL1500

Hi Guys
I picked up a Technics SL1500 for $15 at a garage sale the other day along with a bunch of records.
Any comments on the quality of the TT and advise on where to buy stylii and cartridges in Australia would be much appreciated. :?:

How does the 1500 compare to the 1200's dj's use?  Is it a similar table?  I wouldn't want one in my main rig, but for professional applications I think I'd use nothing else.
