I hope to try the Clari-T in the near future, but I have one question about pre-amps (line stage) and sources. What positive characteristics of a pre-amp are picked up by the Clari-T? It might sound like an odd question but as the digital amp and passive pre saga unfolds it is centered around digital sources. Unfortunately I am centered around vinyl.
I think that a passive will be out of the question, so if I fit a tube line stage between my Wright phono and the Clari-T, are there any considerations for a good match, and can the amp be “voiced” (or plan old “positively effected”) by tube selection upstream?
