Has anyone heard this yet?

Has anybody heard it as well as the Royale 400?

Has anyone head a direct comparison of the two?

Nope. I spoke with the importer about it some months ago and he didn't seem to be in any hurry to bring it to the US. Said he had a hard time keeping up with the other models. I am also very interested in the 254.

Maybe Look into Charisma Audio in Canada
