Do I need to use polyfill in a 12" sealed sub enclosure built to Danny's specs when lined with no-rez?

I like to use a little to cover the amp in the back.

Polyfill fools the driver into looking as if it is in a larger enclosure. There is a formula for the amount of polyfill to cubic inches/feet of the enclosure. Off hand I don't recall what the formula is, but it can be found in The Loudspeaker Design Cookbook by Vance Dickason. Having said that, if you built the enclosure to the size Danny suggests then the answer is no.
