I had an opportunity to see and hear the Cima  and sub at Ricks and they are a very impressive combination. Rick had the Cima with one subwoofer set up. First I would say that they look better than the pictures and the finish looks great. the MTM looked smaller than it appears in the picture which I think was great.

I am not good at describing the sound but we listened to a selection of mainly Jazz (since that is what I like). The sound was very detailed and clear without being overly analytical. No harshness in the high end and the sound was luxurious. I would go with an active system but the dynamics were great for a passive system. The sub integrated very well even though Rick indicated he was running the monitors full range and hadn't eq'd the sub. No problem filling Rick's room andit had all the bass extension you'd ever need. I'm not sure yet but I may end up with a set of these.
