Indeed. All my speakers are 93-96 dB/1 watt/1 meter with an overall 8 ohm impedance so I couldn't justify the 350 watter!

Given that the loudspeaker could physically produce the SPL, at a 10 foot listening distance a single 93 dB speaker could produce ~ 105 dB.  A pair of them plus some room gain would get you closer to ~ 110 dB.

I think you're good!

Be aware that Robinson is Director of Digital Content at Jade Design as of May 6.  The review of the PT 7030 linked above is dated June 10.  That's somewhat borderline from an ethical perspective IMO.

I have a UMC-200 pre/pro and 2 UPA-1 amps, so I'm not a "basher" of the company.
