I didn't really get any good pictures of these beauties, but this is one quick snapshot of them breaking-in, next to eachother and out-of phase. The disc of choice: Spies on Telarc. It is one of the few synthesized discs on Telarc, an really dynamic, even at medium volumes... it really has snap to it. It is not the greatest music though, but the sheer dynamics and extended frequency ranges on the disc are great for break-in.
They are in natural color (obviously), black spikes, black binding post plate. Nothing else really custom involved, but as always, excellent sound.
Dmitriy came to me about 4 weeks ago today for a couple hour listen in both my basement and living room. he liked what he heard and took a demo pair home for a few days. Three weeks and two days later, he'll have his own pair back in his living room.
