Anyone have a fun musical memory of years gone by?  Your faves?  Here are a couple of mine.

For those performers not here any longer, RIP but keep on rockin'.  "There must be a helluva band in heaven."

Here is one from my youth....

Hey Mud, good to 'see' ya.   Hope all is still well with you & DJ. I'll throw a couple into the mix -

A classic I was reminded of due to a very good rendition on the BBC series Bletchley Circle ...

Another one, which I actually saw Lou perform at an auto show back in the day...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6ynRB2Mqlo  don't see any actual vintage film of a performance

A shame so many will never see in person a "Little Deuce Coupe", or a chopped & channeled '50 Merc. Those were the days my friend, simpler times.  8)

Maybe when they turn us loose I'll make the long overdue drop by...........

They don't really have variety shows on TV anymore. On Ed Sullivan or the Hollywood Palace you could see an opera singer, a comedian and the Rolling Stones or the Doors on a single show.

Maybe that wouldn't work today because of media saturation. You can watch top acts on the internet whenever you want without waiting till Sunday night in prime time. Maybe that's what made those appearances so special: you rarely got to see your favorite performers or bands on TV.

Really miss those old variety shows.  I rarely watch anything on TV except the news, a news magazine, old shows or sports.  It seems it's just reality TV or they turn a TV series into a bunch of mini MTV videos.
