At this stage, we felt that pointing them nearly to a straight ahead position gave us the widest soundstage without losing a central focus. Built-in shelves are about 5ft behind us and we sit about 11ft from drivers which in turn are about 5 ft into the room.

Bumping this thread....has anyone else paired an Allnic Amp or Integrated with the X5 or X3's?  If so I'd love to hear which model and your impressions.  I'd really love to hear the new 25th Anniversary vs the 30th comparison regardless of speaker choice as well.
