Somewhere around 1996 I took a chance on a set of speakers from a small midwest direct to customer outfit called Audio Concepts Inc. I still have a set of Sapphire llls and a Titan sub.
I've powered the Sapphires with a yamaha power amp and several different AVRs. Still love 'em to this day. Eventually bought a center to help out with home theater dialogue. That was not a mistake. Music sounds great as always and movies are well, immersive to quote an overused term.
