Tangerine Dream- The Halloween Caste: This song is from the Live in Lisbon Portugal dvd and it sounds incredible on my stereo. This concert was/is a collage of Tangerine Dreams songs/work over the years. There is two other concerts similar to this that I'm aware, Live in London and I think it was Live in Berlin? Live in Lisbon is the best recording of the three.

The Beatles- Hey Jude: The song that broke the Radio mold, which was typically 3 to 3 1/2 minutes. Which was because 78 records were recorded short and also to keep listeners with short attention spans from changing radio stations, thus increasing Ad revenue.
Hey Jude clocked in at over 6 minutes, because it was The Beatles it got played. Iron Butterfly- In-a-gadda-da-vida full version of 17 minutes also got played usually on FM, but that came after Hey Jude.

Pink Floyd- Comfortably Numb- Pulse Concert: This song builds on David Gilmour's guitar solo to a crescendo in what I describe as a siren effect. You can see on the video near the end of the song him manipulating his guitar to create the effect. Sounds so awesome on my stereo I soil my pants.

As an audiophile there is nothing that brings me more satisfaction than hearing the full bloom of music. Currently my ear buds as I've been away from the main rig for awhile.
