I keep forgetting about this thread. Last month (or maybe 2 months ago) I got a pair of 7B-SST2's and a pair of Siltech Classic Anniversary 330i's with upgraded Furutech carbon/rhodium XLR's. The 7's are replacing a 6B-SST C series which was powering my surrounds and center. For the center I put my 4B-SST C-Series back into service until I can find one more 7B-SST2. I still haven't taken pics of the 7's and 4 after I put them into service. Below is a pic I took of the back of the three amps before they all got separated into their respective working positions.

Somewhat of a repost but it's complete.  New to me within a two week period.  2.5(3), BDA-2, BP25, all Bryston cables xlr to speaker cable.  Couldn't be happier.  Thank you Bryston it's good to be home

Sennheiser Momentum over ear 2.0

Unpacked, switched on, hiss noticed, paired BT to Mac, hiss still there. Paired to iPad/iphone. Hiss still there. Played some music, hiss still heard.
Packed. Sent back.
Can you believe it, for a 450 e pair of headphones  :duh: :duh:

really wanted those closed back, noise cancelling, wireless, great sounding headphones. Now what?

Cheers,
Marius

I have a pair, no hiss. The only headphones I can use on my ride-on mower with my iPhone, noise cancelling works a treat.

Searched the fora for it (should have done before of course) and the hiss seems a known spec of these headphones. Maybe you're the lucky exception;-)

A Schiit Gungnir Multibit DAC.
First impression: HOLY SCHIIT!!!  :green:
Apparently it needs about a week to come to its full potential, so now it is on 24/7 decoding internet radio.

Thanks Marius.

Sorry but I have no way verifying the name of the manufacture.
It was imported by local respacted furniture importer wich is also manufacture as a trial
And to compleat his line.

All I know it was made in Italy using triple thick plywood in total 2.5" on all sides with solid
Wood board at its lower back and two supports for the upper shelfe again in triple thick ply wood.
All cover in walnut veneer.

Had a thought to combine it with my walnut Mini T's pair but the wife prefered the contradiction
with the red rosewood Mini T's pair so I left those in this set up.

I choose it becouse it is heavy and sturdy like tomb ston and reduce vibrations,
But it's not made by familiar audio brand name as far as I know.

That Mac don't look like a receiver, but more like a power amplifier,
am I right ????

Congrats Samurai7595

I had the same integrated  (before my 4bsst2) without the radio,
The MA6700.

Better Double check the rack stability as It's very heavy unit.

Guy 13

it's look like the power amp but it's not.
That's because they remove some buttons from the front
like the tone knob and change this to remote function.
Also this one don't contain the famous eq buttons like the MAC7900
Though it's the same amp.

I've had a love affair with McIntosh ever since I had demo'ed it for the first time in the late 80's but I had just gotten married & built a new home so I couldn't afford it back then.

My audio rack's top shelf can handle up to 200 lbs. and the MAC6700 receiver weighs 76 lbs.  It was a beast to bring up 14 stairs, unpack and setup but well worth the effort (I was all by myself...).

I'm very excited!   :thumb:
