I'm considering saving the funds for a pair of NX-Oticas, but before doing that I'd sure like to hear them first. Who has a pair somewhat close to the Boise Idaho area that wouldn't mind having someone over to take a listen. For the cost & effort involved in acquiring and assembling these highly acclaimed speakers it would be best that I was completely convinced that they're exactly what I want. Thanks for your help.

Larry, I think there is at least one pair in Boise, but I'd have to do some digging. I talked to builder but never went to his home. He did post here some. I have X-Otica and open baffle subs. You're welcome to come listen. The primary difference is the tweeter.

    Hearing your X-Oticas would give me a close idea of what I might be hearing with the NX's. I've heard the dual open baffle subs at my friend Kelly's shop. They were impressive. I'll send you a PM with my phone number. Thanks for the quick reply.
