Is there any body substituted the input IC NJM4565 with something better  such as OPA2604, LME49720HA etc?

Please note that my previous parts list contained an error:  R235, R238 were incorrectly stated as 27ohms, should be 2.7K ohms.  Also, other components listed are no longer available.   Below is an updated parts list for the TFM-25 recap and -2 Service Bulletin reliability upgrade:

Can anyone tell me if the alignment procedure outlined in the service manual for this model (TFM-25) requires a dummy 8 ohm load to do the idle and power meter adjustments?  Thanks, can't find an answer anywhere.

I should have stated that all of the ecaps have been replaced.  I'm just waiting to check the alignment.  Thanks.

After so many years listening to quite a few amplifiers (Nakamichi 620, Sonus Faber Amator, MPN F-3 special Edition etc) driving my ATC SM-20SLPro, my choice of favorite amplifier is a pair of Carver TFM-25.

Hello all!!
I would like to know if anyone knows if www.thecarversite.com is still active.  I wanted to join and get a copy of the TFM-25 service manual for my two units.  I want to tune them up.

Interesting question. I would suggest you click on your own link and find out.
