Some of you are aware I built a CC speaker based on the much-loved JG65 driver from Sonic Craft. It used an MTM trio including an Aurum Cantus G2 ribbon tweeter and EIGHT more JG65s driven as woofers. While that system sounded quite good on multichannel music, it was NOT articulate with movie dialog, so I decided to return to the ET12 I still had...but with a twist. The old version of the '12 was OB and included a 10" woofer...
...passively filtered, and it was quite articulate (and beautiful, too, huh!?!?!?), but then it wouldn't fit on top of the new TV.
Well, it's changed back, this time in the new OB modified for the 12 and the same 10" woofer.
It now sounds great, with a high degree of articulation AND warmth and low bass, and holds up the TV. Will be painting it satin black soon.
Dig those really-high-end speakercables running to the L/R tweeters!
