(NuPrime Audio was formally NuForce high-end, see our background story below)

DAC-10H
NuPrime DAC-10H DAC & Digital Headphone Amplifier

NuPrime Audio has announced the release of NuPrime DAC-10H, a DAC & Headphone Amplifier (MSRP$1,795) and NuPrime ST-10, a Reference LE class power amplifier (MSRP$1595). The DAC-10H offers PCM 384K & DSD256 decoding with a high-power balanced headphone amplifier. This reference grade DAC with dual headphones outputs has a unique 6 gain settings capable of driving any headphones regardless of sensitivity.

The DAC-10H's balanced headphone amplifier is capable of driving headphones in balanced and single-ended configuration and can be used with up to two dynamic headphones. With five digital & two analog stereo inputs, the DAC-10H is a full-featured DAC and preamp more than suited for any high-end system.

ST-10
NuPrime ST-10 Stereo Amplifier

The ST-10 amplifier is NuPrime's Reference LE class power amplifier for listeners who require a reference-class amplifier at a somewhat lesser power rating of 2 x 150W (8 Ohm). NuPrime’s sonic character stands well apart from – and indeed above – the soft, cushy sound we often associate with most tubed amplification and the dry, clinically edgy sound we often associate with solid-state and switching technology.

About NuPrime

Background
In 2005, NuForce invented an amplifier that utilizes self-oscillating switching principles in an analog-based topology (US patent #7,221,216 ) as a significant departure from bulky Class A/AB designs using tubes or transistors, and Class-D digital designs that convert signals into digital data. Thanks in full measure to unique innovations, the NuForce Reference 9 amp received the Power Amp of The Year 2005 award from The Absolute Sound, a prestigious American audiophile magazine. Subsequent versions of the Reference 9 received similar awards in Japan and France.

In 2014, NuForce, having decided to focus on mobility products, sold the high-end line along with its technology to investors who then created NuPrime Audio. Under the leadership of NuForce co-founder and original CEO, Jason Lim, NuPrime has assembled a design team comprised of talented engineers who earlier worked on NuForce’s high-end line along with newly recruited experts in switching-power circuit design.

Reaching new heights
NuPrime, having acquired NuForce’s high-end product line, offers several of a projected series of superbly engineered yet affordable audio components: the NuPrime IDA-16, an extreme-resolution integrated digital amplifier; the DAC-10H, a full-featured digital-to-analog converter and preamp capable of PCM 32bit/384kHz and DSD256 decoding with dual headphone outputs (6.2mm and XLR); and the ST.-10, a well-priced Reference LE class stereo amplifier with 150W X 2 (at 8 Ohm) power. Rounding off this new-product list are the celebrated NuForce Reference 20 mono amp and P-20 preamp. NuPrime aims to achieve yet greater heights of excellence and value in high-performance audio.
