[V-Fi]

Has anyone tried the Ember compared to either of the Aero models? I probably don't listen to music over a USB enough to justify the Aero Ag. But the Aero Cu looks really good and he price is within reach. Then I saw Ember and wondered what the major differences could be.

I know the price and positioning suggests a big improvement. But my experience with some other big brands suggest the price is not always related to the sound quality. Or not always enough to be worth it.

Probably everyone here is a Hapa Audio fan but hopefully we can give honest feedback about what the differences might be or might not be.

My review of the differences were in this thread comparing my existing usb vs the Ember vs the Aero Cu. Later I tested the Aero Ag and found it was a good bit more of everything awesomr compared to the Aero Cu. Give this thread a read and it should fill in some of the questions you have.

It depends on your equipment.
Your going to have to try it in your own system, to see which one would be the best value for you and Your System.

I have tried all three on the last tour.
The Areo Ag is definitely the star of the group.
The Areo Cu is a step above the Ember.

I ended up keeping my Ember, the price difference was too much for my budget at this time in my audio journey.

But before I upgrade any other components, I will consider purchasing the Areo Au First. (Whoops Ag)

I tend to let my clients tell the tale of what these cables sound like. I generally see that they hear almost the exact same things I hear when developing these products. I think the info given so far in this thread is dead on! That said, the star of the show imo is Aero Ag. It’s the product that blew away my expectations by such a wide margin it was shocking.

Maybe a USB tour might be in order? 

For now, I do have the kick ass Ember tour with giveaway going on! There will be Aero Cu along for the ride on this one if you want to try both ember and Aero Cu.
