The main problem I have is... I want something with a bit more depth when listening at low volumes and would like to add a Sub to my system without having to move over to a sand amp. I love the tube amp sound. A 2.1 setup would be ideal I think. I do not own a TV so 5.1 and all that has no appeal to me.
What JBL's do you have? Can you pull your speakers away from the front wall? If you want more depth get them away from the walls. Also look into diffusers for the first reflection points as well as the front wall.
