Hi all,
I've just built a point to point octal cornet which is working nicely and sounding great.

I've just found out about the ccs modifications, has anyone a link to an octal cornet specific schematic including the ccs mods?
Thank you all and expecially Jim for the great design.

There are several links in the circle describing the steps to modify the original Octal Cornet to CCS-ed version, but I believe there is no complete schematic of this. Look at:

Looks nice, Mud. Looks like you may have already found the CCS diagram. If not, drop me a note. I ran my own homebrew octal Cornet for a few years before replacing cathode resistors and I liked the results. Painless mod and as CCS often does, tightened up the bass. Also, I've spent a few years sorting 6SL7s to find strong, non-microphonic tubes that will work in that first position without howling. Let me know if you need any of those, too.
