Sorry if my question is stupid but I was just looking at the rear panel of the Benchmark Media DAC1 and there is only a coax and an optic input.  What do you do if your source has only an RCA digital out, is there a way to convert and RCA plug to a coax?

Please don't laugh at me!  haha

Just FYI, the coax connector on the back of your DAC is actually a BNC. Coax is actually a generic term for a type of cable design. The acronyms "BNC" and "RCA" refer to the specific connector type on the cable. So RCA interconnects are also coax cables, just with different connectors than BNC terminated cables.

These guys make quite nice coaxial digital cables with RCA on one end and BNC on the other: http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/single/digitalaudio.htm">Blue Jeans Cables

They use Canare connectors and Belden cable which are both of fine quality.  Plus their price for a single digital cable of 3ft with RCA and BNC connectors ain't bad either -- http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/single/digaudprices.htm">$12.75.  oh and you can pick any pretty color you want as well.

The new NexGen connectors from WBT are actually 75 ohm RCA plugs and jacks.  You could replace the jack with one of these and match the 75 ohm impedance.
