I have been a member for several years, and have learned much. I purchased new speakers for the first time in over a decade, and wanted to talk about them.

Welcome!  Have not heard that model but have heard some of their other speakers and they are really nice.

Active speakers are the bee’s knees in my opinion.  The issues for most audiophiles is tweaking and upgrading.  I’ve owned ATC and Genelec.  The ATC’s were too much like a studio monitor for me.  The quality of the recoding becomes the key to great sound.  The Genelec’s aren’t as ruthless in revealing the recording.  I really like them and would probably upgrade to a larger mode to get off the merry go round.

Welcome to AC and let us hear your opinion of the Janszens.  Here’s a link to those who asked.

It looks like a sculpture. I have a 16.1 immersive system, all active speakers.

Welcome!

Heard the Camelita passive at Axpona years ago and liked them (hard to be more definitive than that under show condition), but am also a fan of active design.
