ANYONE considering a 2015 or 2016 CR-V be aware of the vibration issues that brought about a Class Action Lawsuit. I just bought a Certified 2015 and am not happy with the Dealership or Honda.

Folsom, I didn't consider the Highlander because to me, rightly or wrongly, it always seemed a bit too big. Looking at its crash test results now, it would've been ruled out anyway because a couple of its IIHS and NHTSA test results were less than good. But it would have been nice to have a hybrid that met my criteria.

I test drove a 2016 and 2019 CRV about the same month I test drove the 2019 SUVs from Mazda, Toyota, and Subaru. My top two choices were the Honda and Subaru, although I really liked the 4Runner (out of my price range and not good mpg). I ended up with the Subaru Forester for comfort, AWD in the snow, safety and reliability. The Forester also was afffordable.

Anyone looking at a CRV really should consider the Acura RDX, especially if buying used.  The price isn't that much different and you get all the options of the EX-L/Touring plus a strong V6.

I might be a bit of an Acura fan boy but we are on our second RDX and the 2018 we have now is the best one yet and was a bit of an improvement from the 2015..  It's very quiet, smooth and rather fast.

While you ofter hear of cars with problems, I can offer the opposite.  I've been leasing/owning Acura/Honda's for 20+ years and aside from the Takata air bag recalls, our cars have been rock solid (1997 CL, 2006 Accord V6, 2007 Pilot, 2009 TSX, 2012 TL, 2012 TSX Sport Wagon, 2015 RDX, 2018 RDX).

I only go to the dealer every three years to get a fresh one.  I thought I was going to buy this one at the end of the lease but the new 2019 body style and features have me anxiously waiting for my lease to be up.

I also have to add, my made in USA (Ohio) RDX is much more solid than my made in Japan TSX Sport Wagon.

I like the 2014 RDX we have owned for 2 years now.

But it does exhibit some odd transmission hesitation.  Flushed the fluids, but it persists especially in colder weather.

I have read a lot about how that trans has issues.  We have about 50K miles on ours, and I aspire to own it for a few years more.

But, that is the reason we did not look at another RDX.

The Lexus NX is a great used buy.  Very happy with ours.

My mother is driving a 2019 Rav4 rental. She says it has way less power than my Rav4. That and she is really glad she got the HR-V instead of waiting for the 19 Rav4.

I recently bought a 2015 EXL certified low miles and my wife notices vibration when stopped at a light. Thanks for bringing up this topic. There is a service bulletin on the issue - I’m going to schedule a day at the shop for them to investigate. Other than this issue, the car is perfect for my wife.
