Power conditioners really DO work.

I have owned a Tice Power Block 3C Signature since 1998.  I have grown so accustomed to it conditioning all power to my front end units that I forgot what it did.

Recently I added a couple pieces to my system.  In the process, I moved the television's power cable from the 3C to the wall.  A day or two later when I had the TV and the stereo on, I assumed that the new digital crossover was causing problems: digital artifacts above 16Khz.  Man, it was annoying.  After a few days of thinking the new digital crossover had to go, I moved the TV back to the Tice.  No more high pitched artifacts.

The noise was coming from the internal electronics of the TV itself.  I guess it was the light generator or tube or whatever it is called on a standard TV set.

TVs make a very high pitched noise.  Many people can not hear it.  I am fortunate enough to still be able to hear it.  With the Tice, that high pitch was decreased.   :thumb:
