I have had this center speaker now for two weeks. The one I had before was KEF Reference 202.2. There are two things the CBT center does  better. First it is a much bigger sweet spot. The voices are distinct in the middle even if you are sited to the sides. And the dynamics and possible output is much better.

It meet my expectations in every way.  :thumb:

Rick,
The web site mentions that the this center channel was designed with the goal of matching a line array.  I don't have a line array.  What other of your speakers might match up with this speaker?  I sit off-axis a lot (an accommodation to the room and my wife when she is in the room) so the mention above this has a much bigger sweet spot is intriguing.

It could be used with most any speaker. My main goal was to have a center that could keep up with arrays in terms of dynamics and output capability. The wide and uniform coverage is ideal for your situation. What speakers do you use for the mains?

PBN Montana XP.  Below is a photo of the XPS model.  The newer model is slightly taller and has different drivers but basically, you get the idea of what the speaker looks like.

Ah - I met Peter several years ago when he was working here with Cary Audio - very nice guy. This would be a good match since your speaker is capable of high output.
