System Overview

A combination 2 channel and 7.1 HT system centered around the Linkwitz Orion ++ speaker system. A custom Orion-based center speaker is used for HT applcations and SACD multi-channel. DIY sealed box surrounds use the Seas W22 and the Seas Millenium tweeter. Rear surrounds are Vance Dickason designed bipolar speakers from Parts Express.

Finished basement room specifically used for music, home theater, and video gaming

Acoustic Treatment

None other than normal furnishings and "stuff of life" RT60 runs about 500 msec., See SL website for comments on acoustic treatment

Listening Impressions

I will match 2 channel reproduction against anything on acoustic recordings in a real venue. HT and studio recordings are good too, but who really knows how they record, mix and master these.
