For sale is the highly regarded Don Sachs Model 2 tube preamplifier. It’s not possible to find a better-sounding preamp on the planet in this price range. The only reason I’m selling is to fund a custom-made tube preamp build. This preamp was built in 2020 and has one XLR input, three RCA inputs, and two RCA outputs (Miflex caps with Dueland Pure Silver bypass caps on output 1, Jantzen Caps on output 2). Cherry wood case. There’s a hairline crack in the case and minor scratches that can’t be seen more than a couple of feet away. As such, I rated it conservatively at 7/10. Comes with two pairs of the venerable Shuguang WE6SN7's and a GE 6BY5 rectifier.
