This is a demo pair of Song3 BeAT's done in monkeypod veneer with an orange dye.
Monkeypod is quite similar to Hawaiian koa but with broader grain structure and a level of chatoyance (sparkle) that koa and nice mahogany are known for. They shimmer when you walk by them.
I originally built this pair for myself.
Normally, this finish would add about $800 - 900 to the cost of a pair of speakers, but we are including this upgraded veneer finish free of charge.
