Would be great to see a pre-amp from CI Audio with balanced outputs and an optional external VAC-1 style power supply. Anything in the works?
No plans for a balanced version at this time. The VAC-1 will work with PLC-1, but offers no sonic benefit being that PLC is purley passive. (the supply only powers the input switching/remote functions).
