Plitron in Stratos

What Plitron model is used in the Stratos? I am considering making an external box for the trans and would like to leave the current one in the chassis but disconnect it from the screw mounts on the PCB.

To finally eliminate the hum I get from this amplifier that no other amp exhibits in my system. So far it's just an idea...but we'll see!
