They will drop your jaw with what they can do which, in the areas in which they shine, is completely without peer, I think.

Also, all the talk of 57s having no bass and no dynamics is total bunk - those are worn-out speakers people are talking about.  Or at least not PK Quads.

Paul, what amp did you use with your Quads?  I have the Atma-Sphere M60  (60 watts of OTL power)  and Bob Carver's Cherry 180 KT88 mono blocks  (200 watts of PP power).  Wayne thinks the Cherry 180 will do fine despite the high power and Quads reputation for not being able to handle more than 30 watts. I guess he trusts the clamp circuit will protect the speaker from power overload.
