Welcome tô AC :thumb:
Dont walk, run from low sensitivity and 4 ohms speakers,  instead prefer 100dB speaker as Klipsch RF7 new or used.

If you wish hi end performance look no xover fullrange drivers as Lii Audio F15 OB panel.

DIY project from a member: Eminence Alpha15A + 4.7mH + Visaton B200:

Decware OB with the Lii Audio F15 driver:

If one have a woodworker is possible try the Lii Audio F15($399/Pair) 97dB/8Ω and benign impedance curve suited to OB or Bass Reflex box or the F18($540/pair), no Crossover, no Tweeter beaming, no Phase rotation, no driver sensitivity loss, no Harmonics loss, no Retail price.

Welcome!

First look for an ideal room (not small or squarish that is well insulated).

Second shop for speakers to fit the room and your tastes (prefer active monitors).

Third round out the system with a good source.

Some of the best advices I've received in 18 years in this hobby:

"It's all about the music"

Meet local audiophiles! Tristate has thousands of helpful audiophiles, many of them are members here.

Use big speakers. They always sound better and can be enjoyed at lower volume.

The audio system is an appliance, not an altar.
