my two favs are Pink Floyd-- 'Pulse'--  which is stunningly good for all senses, and The Who '--Quadrophenia"--,which showcases the writing and talent of the boys from accross the bond.these two vids are way on the 'A' list. :D :D

There was an old Police concert from 1979 that was broadcast on public television back in the 80s which I absolutely loved...back when the Police were a stripped down punk-rock-reggae trio.  Apparently, the DVD was released in Japan-only, titled "Live '79 At Hatfield Polytechnic - The Police"...would be eternally indebted if someone had a copy of it they could share with me... :green:

Pink Floyd "Live at Pompeii" is really cool.  It was filmed in the Pompeii arena and it has scenes of PF at Abbey Road studios during the recording of DSOTM.  It's my favorite.

Of course, PULSE is great, and so is David Gilmour In Concert, from 2002.  His new DVD from his recent tour is supposed to come out in the next few months, too.

I'm a PF freak.  Yes, I admit.

Sorry for the quick off-topic....  My favorite Kyuss alb of the three I have is Blues for a Red Sun.  Good hard rock blues.

Rory Gallagher Live at Montreux has concert footage from his Montreux shows in 1975, 1977,1979, 1985 and the complete show from 1994. Killer player, killer shows.

Josh, the Porcupine Tree concert is a great show and well recorded!! It was recorded at the Park West here in Chicago. A great venue for concerts. I saw King Crimson there twice!! If you like PT check out the concerts from Dream Theater. I can't get them out of my DVD player :drums:  :guitar:

I like those as well, if you like Stevie, you really should check out the late, great, Rory Gallagher. Tough rocking blues.(with a strat more beat-up than Stevie's) Maybe.
