I have redone all the mods at the Enthusiast level for the SqueezeBox 3/Classic.
The Enthusiast level digital only mod used to require an outboard voltage regulator. This would provide a cleaner 3.3 volts to the clock/buffer circuit. I have worked out a method to install this regulator inside the case of the SB3.
The latest version of the Enthusiast level mods add this regulator across the board. It really cleans up the sonics of all the mods. The sound is very natural and organic with the power supplied from a linear supply.
