What do you use when eating meat other than "steak: knives.
Thanks

At home fingers come to mind and a for when in public a fork is nice.
Seriously I use just a sharp knife, non serrated. And a Ribeye really only needs the edge of a fork usually.

Hey!
Well, you could go full caveman style with your meat.

When we've got an Elk on a spit over a bonfire, proper utensils are needed. That's just how we do it in Idaho. USB cable for reference.

I think he’s asking if there are other/better types of knives for various types of meat. Steak knives are fine especially for tougher cuts of red meat, but they usually have coarse serrations which may not be good for meats that aren’t tough. The coarse serrations tend to shred the meat versus cut it cleanly. Like most folks, I’ll just use a fork and whatever knife I can get my hands on. But maybe this isn’t “appropriate” if you’re entertaining dinner guests. It’s a valid question.

I generally use the knives in the drawer, the one on top seems to work best.

This is a knife for cutting meat:

It actually works really well, though for a lot of smaller chunks of meat is a bit long.
Not sure whether this is used for "eating" meat, though.

A good sharp paring knife works for me.
