Title: VPI HW-19/MkIV - tendersoft or extra firm?

Hi Steve -

I want to replace the sorbothane isolators in my VPI with Tenderfeet to reduce motor vibration to the plinth (no SAMA).  The plinth weight (with platter, tonearm) is probably 30-40 lbs (haven't measured yet).  Will the soft or extra-firm do a better job of motor isolation in this scenario?

Hi, Todd. Though we have HW-19 customers using both TenderSoft and Extra-Firm Big Tall Tenderfeet with excellent results, I recommend the Extra-Firm version. (If you have any particular macro-type vibration like footfall issues, then the TenderSoft version would likely be the better choice.)

Thanks Steve.  No macro-vibration or footfall issues, so I'll go with the Extra-Firm.

Hi Todd,
I have a Jr. with a MKIII platter mounted on a wall shelf. I am using the tenderfeet soft and they work great.

What difference did you notice? What did the feet replace?
