Need some help wiring AC to Cornet, please

Using separate IEC, switch and bayonet-type fuse holder.
Do I need to do anything with the eyelets marked for the stock fuse-holder?

You will need to jumper across it.  Just solder in a spare resistor lead.

I thought so. But then I sat and stared at the board for awhile undecided while the red light on the Hakko flashed impatiently at me!
